Steps
- Open the deck. From your dashboard, open the deal and click the deck. The share screen shows the preview with the download and publish controls beside it.
- Pick the file you need. Editable PowerPoint for anything you will keep working on. Exact-look PowerPoint when the deck must look identical to the web version on someone else's machine. PDF for email attachments and printing.
- Wait for the file. The button shows "Preparing" while the file renders, usually a few seconds. The download starts automatically.
Editable versus exact-look
The editable PowerPoint looks like the web deck: each slide's design (background, images, shapes and charts) comes in as one picture, and every word sits on top as a real PowerPoint text box you can edit, move or restyle. If your computer doesn't have one of the deck's fonts, PowerPoint swaps in a similar one, so a line can wrap a little differently. The exact-look file is pixel-identical because each slide is a single high-resolution image, which also means its text cannot be edited. When in doubt, take both; once a deck's downloads are unlocked, each file costs nothing extra.
The badge
On the free plan, every slide carries a small "Powered by PitchBoost" badge, including the live link. Starter ($7 a month) removes it from every deck and export, and you can also remove it from a single deck with a one-time $9 purchase from the share screen, which unlocks that deck's downloads too.
Questions
Can I download without publishing?
Yes. Downloads work on a private draft. Publishing only matters for the web link.
Are the fonts embedded in the editable PowerPoint?
The file names your brand fonts; if a machine does not have them installed, PowerPoint substitutes a similar font. The exact-look file has no such issue because the slides are images.
Is there a Google Slides export?
Download the editable PowerPoint and import it into Google Slides through File > Import slides. Everything stays editable.
